Analysis on Level and Influence Factors of Coupling Efficiency of Tourism Industry and Urbanization——Taking Zhangjiajie as an Example

Based on the mutual relationship between tourism and urbanization,on the basis of the concept and connotation of efficiency,this paper defined the concept of coupling efficiency of tourism and urbanization,and its characteristics. This paper used the related data of Zhangjiajie from 1989 to 2014 and combined with the method of DEA and Tobit to discuss the coupling efficiency,its evolutionary stages and influence factors. The resluts showed: In the past 26 years,coupling efficiency( technical efficiency) was rose,the level of pure technical efficiency was higher and scale efficiency was second,and the scale efficiency of urban tourism efficiency and tourism town efficiency was changing,which showed that the utilization of the resource elements was not enough,and the input redundancy was serious. Combined with the changing form,the evolution of coupling efficiency had four stages: Low efficiency stage,growth stage,adjustment stage and optimization stage,and the efficiency characteristics were different at different stages. Finally,the authors found that tourism scale effect,industrial structure and technology level had significant positive effects on the coupling efficiency,while the capital effect and traffic level had significant negative influence,the cultural effect was not significant.
