Network Contact Pattern in Sichuan-Chongqing Urban Based on Land Passenger Linkage

With the spacial obstacle for regional communication constantly be overcomed by new traffic and telecommunication technology,various flows flowed in high speed between urban and regional space,where close relation network forms and the space of flows emerged.Among these flows,passenger flow became the most common means for describing spatial network pattern,because it enjoyed a good representation ability.This paper analyzed the Sichuan-Chongqing land passenger flow by using social network analysis and adopting some indexes such as centrality,core-periphery structure and asymmetry.The results showed that:(1)The land passenger flow network in Sichuan-Chongqing presented a"T"structure apparently.(2)The radiation range of Chongqing land passenger network was inconsistent with its administrative division.(3)The role of Luzhou cannot be neglected during the cooperation of Sichuan and Chongqing in the future.(4)The development of the highway passenger flow network was more superior than that of railway.(5)The highway passenger flow network was closely related to the development of industrial economy,but there existed a strong correlation between the railway passenger flow network and economic aggregate.
