Clinical studies of uterine fibroids laparoscopic and open surgery

Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of laparoscopy and traditional open surgery in the treatment of hysteromyoma and its influence on postoperative pregnancy.Methods:127patients were treated in our hospital from August 2009 to August 2012 and were randomly divided into two groups.64 patients in the observation group were treated with laparoscopic surgery and 63 patients in the control group were treated with laparotomy.The operative indexes,recurrence rate and postoperative pregnancy rate were observed and compared between the two groups.Results:The operative time,blood loss and the incidence of postoperative complications were significantly higher in the observation group than those in the control group(P0.05).The recurrence rate of fibroids in the two groups was significantly lower than that in the control group There was no significant difference in postoperative pregnancy rate(P0.05).Conclusion:Laparoscopy and laparotomy are good methods for the treatment of uterine fibroids,but laparoscopic surgery time is short,less bleeding after surgery,patients recover faster,it is worth to be extended in clinical practice.
