Clinical analysis of 437 cases of endometrial polyps

Objective:This paper analyses the traits and pathological characteristics of EP from 437 patients,to explore the relationship between EP and abnormal uterine bleeding.Methods:This paper selects 437 cases of EP confirmed by hysteroscopy pathological diagnosis,and analyses menopausal status,number and size of EP,and the relation between EP,endometrial pathology and abnormal uterine bleeding.Results:The comparison of occurrence rate of abnormal uterine bleeding between nonpostmenopausal patients and postmenopausal patients is of statistical significance(P 0.05).The comparison of occurrence rate of abnormal uterine bleeding between multiple polyps and single polyp is of statistical significance(P 0.05).The comparison of occurrence rate of abnormal uterine bleeding of polyp size(diameter≤10mm and10mm)is of no statistical significance(P 0.05).The comparison of occurrence rate of endometrial hyperplasia lesions between patients with and without abnormal bleeding is of statistical significance(P 0.01).Conclusion:Abnormal uterine bleeding has connection with menopausal status and multiple polyps.Patients with abnormal uterine bleeding should take hysteroscopy check as early as possible,to screen polyps and endometrial hyperplasia lesions to avoid malignant transformation.
