The Changes of Cardiac Morphology,Cardiac Function and Hemodynamics After Cardiac Transplantation by Echocardiography

Objective:To investigate the value of echocardiography in early detection of transplanted heart.Methods:10patients with orthotopic heart transplantation were examined by echocardiography.The heart size,cardiac function and hemodynamics were recorded at day 2,day 7,day 15 and day after operation respectively.Results:The 2day after surgery,after 7,15,30 days LVDd decreased,RVDd decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05),and 2days after surgery,postoperative 7,15,30 days of IVST and LVPWT values were higher,the difference was statistically significant(all P 0.05),and 2days after surgery,postoperative 7,15,30 days of EF,FS and SV did not change significantly,the difference was not statistically significant(P 0.05).There was no significant difference in the forward flow ofaortic valve at each time point(P 0.05).E/A1can be used to estimate the left ventricular diastolic function,the E/A at each time point was more than 1,the difference was not statistically significant(P 0.05).And after 2days,after 7days,15 days,30days of PASP were gradually increased,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:echocardiography can be used to detect the outcome and function of the transplanted heart in the early stage of heart transplantation.
