The High stability Stability Coefficient (HSC) procedure facilated with stability and adaptability parameters was used for comprehensive evaluation of results of rice regional trials in Chongqing, 1999. The results indicated that K you 88, Ⅱ you Jinhui 1, Ⅱ you R99 and Ⅱ you 50329 were all the varieties with high and stable yield while C you 22 and Ⅱ you 95 2 and 65002 were ones with high and unstable yield, and low and unstable yield, respectively HSC procedure was more reliable analysis of yield and stability of rice varieties and simpler in calculation than variance analysis procedure.
