Improvement on Mg-Ni-Based Hydrogen Storage Alloy

Qian Xiaojing,Huang Guoqiang,Lin Bo(National Key Laboratory of Surface Physics and Chemistry,Mianyang 621907,China)  
Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloys have large capacity of hydrogen absorption,but its dehydriding carries out at high temperature and dynamic behavior on hydriding and dehydriding limits its application in more fields.Many works taking different methods have been done in the world to solve these problems and improve its operational performances.The investigation works about improvement on Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloys were reviewed and discussed mainly in the fields of surface treatment,composition changing and nano-treatment.
