Phase Characteristics and Properties of BaTiO_3-Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_3 Ferroelectric Ceramics

(1-x)Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3-xBaTiO3(x≤0.4) ferroelectric ceramics were prepared by the conventional ceramic technique.The phase characteristics and the dielectric properties were investigated.X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis indicated that the ceramics formed single-phase perovskite solid solutions with tetragonal symmetry after sintering at 1250 ℃ for 2 h.Selected area electron diffraction(SAED) studies revealed that the cubic phase and the disorder structures coexisted with the tetragonal phase in the ceramics.The Curie temperature(TC) shifted to high temperature as the BNT content increased.The temperature-stable dielectric characteristics in a wide range of temperature from-60 ℃ to higher than 110 ℃ were obtained when the addition of BNT was 20% to 40%(mole fraction).
