Objective: The study was undertaken to look for anti-HBV(Hepatitis B virus) constituents in the 70% alcohol extracts of Jasminum officinale var.grandiflorum.Methods: The isolation and purification were performed by chromatography on silica gel, polyamide and Sephadex LH-20 column,HPLC,and recrystallization. The structures were elucidated on the basis of physicochemical properties and spectral analysis, such as 1H-NMR,13C-NMR,UV and MS.Results: Six flavonoid glycosides were isolated from the active parts, and their structures were identified as kaempferol-3,7-O-di-β-D-glucopyranside(1),kaempferol-3-O-(6″-O-acetyl)-β-D-glucopyranside(2),quercetin-3-O-sambubioside(3),sulfurein(4),butin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranside(5),and acacetin-7-O-(α-D-apiofuranosyl)(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranside(6).Conclusion: Compounds 1~6 were isolated from Jasminum officinale var.grandiflorum for the first time.
