Application of uncertainty evaluation in determination of fluoride in rural drinking water

[Objective]To establish the standard uncertainty mathematical model for determination of fluoride in rural drinking water by ion-selective electrode method. [Methods]According to the "Standard Test Methods of Drinking Water " GB/T 5750.5-2006,an example of quantitative uncertainty component was applied for exhaustive analysis and the computation,finally the expanded uncertainty was obtained. [Results]The standard curve fitting contributed most to the uncertainty.The reported concentration of fluoride was(1.06±0.032) mg/L,P=95%,K=2. [Conclusion]The mathematical model provide evidence for the quality control in laboratory.
