Influences of nutritional care intervention on curative effect and quality of life in patients with essential hypertension

[Objective]To study the influences of nutritional care intervention on curative effect and quality of life in patients with essential hypertension. [Methods]60 patients with essential hypertension were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,30 patients in each group.The control group was given drug therapy and conventional care,and the observation group received nutritional intervention on the basis of treatment of the control group.After 6 months of treatment,the changes of body mass,blood pressure and life quality(SF-36) were observed in two groups. [Results]After 6 months of treatment,the body mass,systolic blood pressure(SBP) and diastolic pressure(DBP) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P0.05).The scores of 8 dimension of SF-36 in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P0.05). [Conclusion]The nutritional care intervention can significantly increase the curative effect of patients with essential hypertension and improve the quality of life.
