Effect of electric welding on Cardiovascular Function of male workers

[Objective]To probe the impact of electric welding on cardiac function level of male welders.[Methods]Totally,135 male welders and 138 workers from management positions without exposure(control group) were selected as study objects.The serum myocardial zymogram level of male welders,which contained CKCK-MB,AST,ALT,α-HBD and LDH were determined as well as the concentration of manganese in urine,blood pressure,electrocardiogram(ECG).[Results]The concentration of manganese in urine,serum CK,α-HBD,LDH levels,abnormal ECG rates were significantly higher than those of control group(P0.05),while the diastolic pressure was on the contrary(P0.05).[Conclusion]Welding has a certain effect on the cardiovascular function of workers with exposure.
