Supposition the Location of the Shang Capital where Pan Geng Moved

Yang Xizhang; Xu guangde ; Gaowei
From 1996 on, in order to the Project of Xia-Shang-Zhou Chronology, Anyang Arehaeological Team of IA, CASS found a larger-scale site of Middle period of Shang Dynasty near Sanjiazhuang and Dongwangdu village on the north of Huanhe river on the northeast of the Yin Runis, Anyang. Its period of the upper-lay is slightly before foe Desikong I, and maybe equal to the period of Pan Geng, Xiao Xin and Xiao Yi. We believe that this site could provide us many important clubs to resolve the question about the location of the Shang Capital where Pan Geng moved, which was recorded in ancient document.
