The Excavation of Burial No.26 at the Shuanghezhen Cemetery,Xichuan

Cultural Heritage Preservation Office for the South-to-North Water Diversion Project;Henan Provincial Cultural Heritage Administration;  
In 2007, the Nanyang Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology excavated the Shuanghezhen cemetery at Xichuan. The burial No.26 is a shaft-pit burial, which was intact before excavation. Multiple pottery vessels and bronze wares were unearthed from it, which dated the tomb to the middle period of the Western Han dynasty or so.
