Correlation study on mammographic features,pathology and molecular biology of breast cancer

Objective To investigate the correlation among mammographic features,pathology and molecular biology markers(ki67 CerbB2,ER,PR)of the breast cancer.Methods The mammographic features of 60 cases of breast cancer confirmed by surgery and histopathology were analyzed retrospectively.The mastectomy specimens of the breast cancer were stained with immunohistochemistry,and the expression of ki67,CerbB2,estrogenreceptor(ER)and progesterone re- ceptor(PR)was measured.The relationship between the immunohistochemical pathologic results and mammographic fea- tures was analyzed.Results Among the 60 cases of breast cancers,X-ray types of breast cancer were not correlated with the expression of ki67,CerbB2,ER and PR(P0.01).CerbB2 positive expression were positively correlated with the tu- moral size and TNM of breast cancer(P0.01).ER positive expression were positively correlated with the spiculate mar- gin of breast cancer(P0.01).Conclusion To certain extent,there exists some correlation among mammographic fea- tures,histopathology and molecular biology markers in breast cancer.The biologic behavior and prognosis can be assessed according to mammographic features.
