Potential Problems in Anisotropic Solids Using Hybrid Finite Element Model

The hybrid finite element formulation is developed in the paper for plane anisotropic potential analysis.The linear combination of fundamental solution is used to approximate the element interior field,while the approximation of shape function is used to give element boundary field.The hybrid variational is constructed to link these two fields and produce the final system of equations involving boundary integrals only.Numerical results show that the proposed approach has good accuracy,and can be extended to solve other problems.
