Study on Taxonamy of the Genus Caragana Fabricii

The genus Caragalia with 74 species belonging to 6 secions,13 series was discussed. A new section and two new subsections were described in latin,every species was checked. A new taxonamic system was proposed. According to this, it gives a ecological phylogeny of the genus evolution. It was postulated C. chamlagu (C. sinica) is a hybrid between C. rose a and C. frutex, so the Ser. Chamlagu evoluted from Ser. Frutescentes, not a hybrid between different series, but same series.
