THE ECOLOGICAL DIFFERENTIATION OF THE HEDYSARUM L. AND GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION IN CHINA

The Hedysarum L. in china are about 41 species belong to 4 section of wich there are 17 endemic , and mainly distribute over wide western regions of Changbaishan-Taihangshan-Tsinling-Hengduanshan.Section Obscura B. Fedtsch. has formed a centre of second differentiation with 15 endemic species in the estern region of the coniferous forest of Hymalaya.This genus in the ecological differetiation should divide both arid and cold evolutional directions.There are a arid belt between Xizang and Pamir- Hindukush , wich is a boundary line of the plant geography (province).All the species of this genus always are important economical value, usually used to fine herbage and medicine.
