RESEARCH ON DISPOSAL ORGANIC WASTE GAS BY METHOD OF ADSORPTION AND CATALYTIC COMBUSTION

This article introduces experimental process, principal equipment, control methods and experimental results. Applying Honeycomb Activated Carbon (HAC) to adsorb and concentrate, desorbing with thermal air of small wind rate and catalytic combustion, the industrial experiments have been finished to dispose the waste gas that includes series of benzene compound with treatment capacity of 25000~30000m3/h. The results show that the efficiency purifying series of benzene compound by adsorption is about 90%, discharge concentration is lower than 100 mg/m3 and meet the national discharge standard, this method is safe, efficient and energy-saving, the process of catalytic combustion can use the heat energy of combustion by itself or only consume a little power. We also use industrial computer to control the whole process automatically for the first time in China, so it achieves the process which is difficult to control by manual operation. Data collection is convenient and accurate. This method has many characteristics, such as small equipment volume, low energy consumption, easy to operate and repair etc. It is an available method to dispose the low concentration and large wind rate organic waste gas.
