Design on MSP430-based portable sleep monitoring instrument

Sleep quality is an essential factor for human health,in order to avoid the unwanted physiological and psychological stress of patients caused by overnight polysomnography,a new method based on pulse wave signal with monitoring dual light sources is adopted to monitor the sleeping of patients.The hardware is used for overnight pulse wave signal acquisition.The upper computer software is used to analyze the signal,relevant information of sleep and evaluate sleep quality are extracted.This method nearly has no effect on sleep as well as maintains advantages of brief recording process,convenient operation and low cost.It can evaluate sleep quality better and be suitable for patient to do a long-term sleep monitoring.
