Accuracy control method of building measurement based on BIM

When using traditional methods to measure the building column, there exists large deviation in both horizontal and vertical directions, which results in the low measurement accuracy of building construction. In order to improve the building measurement accuracy, a control method based on Building Information Mdeling(BIM) is proposed in this paper. The overall BIM model of the building is constructed by using the shape attributes of each building component and the spatial position relationship of each component, and the gross error is eliminated through preprocessing, and the accuracy control parameters are set to improve the overall accuracy of measurement. An experiment is carried out by comparing with the traditional measurement methods. The experimental results show that the measurement accuracy of this method is improved in perpendicularity, horizontal centerline offset and levelness of Z axis.
