Hotspots, Evolution Context Analysis and Prospect of Low Carbon Research in Urban Settlements Based on Scientific Knowledge Map

Under the background of "Carbon peak and neutrality", the low-carbon construction of urban residential areas plays an important role in the green development of urban and rural construction in China. Based on 442 relevant documents retrieved and selected from CNKI, this paper uses Citespace to conduct a knowledge graph visualization analysis of the research hotspots, cluster changes and evolution trends of low carbon research in urban residential areas in China. Combined with knowledge map analysis and article review, this paper summarizes four research themes, four research evolution stages, and three research progress covering basic research, technical methods, standards and planning regulations for low-carbon research in urban residential areas. In view of the current problems such as unclear connotation, unclear mechanism, and insufficient management and control, this paper looks forward to future research from the following five aspects: basic low-carbon research on residential areas, optimization model methods for planning and design carbon emission reduction, low-carbon residential areas Policies, regulations and technical standards, low-carbon regulation technology system and mechanism construction, interdisciplinary integration research and inter-departmental collaboration, etc., in order to promote the implementation of low-carbon planning and construction research in urban residential areas.
