On the Reform of Ideological and Political Education Integrated in Public English Course in Higher Vocational Colleges under the Background of “Internet plus”——Take Practical English Course as an Example

In the integration of ideological and political education into the public English course in our college, there are problems that the teachers' “Internet+” quality is not high and the ideological and political resources lack regional characteristics. In view of this and taking Practical English Course as an example, this paper takes advantages of a high-quality MOOC on Zhihuishu platform and creates a “Internet plus Ideological and Political Education” flipped hybrid teaching model. This model reconstructs the goal of ideological and political education in public English courses, and carries out successful exploration in the pursuit of promoting the overall development of students' quality, which effectively improves the ideological and political education level, teaching quality and educational effectiveness of public English course in our college.
