Impact of Aluminum exposure on brain development of mouse in growing and developmental phase

Objective To explore the impact of aluminum on the brain of mouse in growing and developmental phase.Methods 32 weaning Kunming mice were divided into 4 groups and were fed with basal food which was added to AlCl3 according to 0,11.2,55.9,111.9 mg/kg body weight for 90 days in a row.The content of protein,DNA and RNA in hippocampus and cerebral in mouse were observed.Results Compared with the control group,the weight of hippocampus and cerebral in mice reduced,the content of protein,DNA and RNA in hippocampus and cerebral reduced.And there were significant dose-response relationships.Conclusion Aluminum had impact on the development of the brain of mouse in growing and developmental phase.
