Study on Object-Oriented Reactive Compensation Allocation Optimization Algorithm for Distribution Networks

An object-oriented optimization modeling method for distribution network reactive power optimization is introduced in this paper,which is more precise comparing with traditional reactive power optimization methods.Better expandability can be achieved since all the aspects of the optimization problem can be expressed in an object-oriented way,such as the objective function and all the constraints,and thus it is more suitable for the continuously improving reactive power optimization problems in modern power industries.The method is implemented based on the open source Genetics Algorithm library named Jenetics in JAVA environment.A sample from real distribution system is used to test the validity of the method in this paper.
