Fractal characteristics of spatial structure of guanzhong plain urban agglomeration from the perspective of traffic

There is a close relationship between transportation and urban spatial structure, and the coordinated and integrated development of the two plays a vital role in the high-quality development of urban agglomerations. This paper takes the Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration as the research object, and aims to study the spatial structure of the urban agglomeration from the perspective of fractal theory. Based on the Hausdorff dimension, by measuring the spatial correlation dimension, the ratio of the cow and the crow dimension, the aggregation dimension and other indicators, it fully considers the impact of high-speed railways and highways, comparatively analyzes the spatial structure characteristics and differences of the Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration and its surrounding four major urban agglomerations, and strives to coordinate and integrate the high-speed railway, expressway and urban spatial structure of the Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration to provide reference suggestions for development. The result shows that the spatial distribution among the cities of the five major urban agglomerations all have fractal characteristics, but the accessibility and correlation of the transportation network between the cities of the Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration are relatively high, and the urban system is distributed in agglomeration, showing a decreasing density from the central city to the surroundings trend.
