Coupling Coordination and Spatial-Temporal Differentiation in Trade Circulation Innovation and Green Development——Verification Based on Eleven Provinces and Cities within Yangtze River Economic Belt

By constructing a comprehensive evaluation index system and taking eleven provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt as research objects, this paper uses corresponding data from 2006 to 2020 and related methods to explore the coupling degree and coupling coordination degree between trade circulation innovation and green development. Results show that:(1)the overall level of trade circulation innovation and green development index in Yangtze River Economic Belt is low, but it has improved significantly, growth rates of regions with better economic development greater than others;(2)the degree of coupling between the two follows a pattern of periodic increase and decrease, demonstrating a continuous change in the coupling quality between the two;(3)the coupling coordination degree of the two system slowly rises with time and takes on a clustering feature in space, the gradient spatial differentiation characteristics of “downstream middle upstream” having been found. Corresponding policy recommendations are made based on this.
