The metaverse brings us not only a cadenza of new technology but also a reflection on some of the basic philosophical concepts. The theory of things becomes an important topic in the metaphysical studies in the metaverse. Seeing games from the perspective of Heidegger's Vorhandenkeit and Geviert makes it externally mystical, while Baudrillard's Le système des objets and Pour une critique de l'économie politique du signe turn things into nihilism under a symbolic system. To preserve the importance of things in the metaverse while not allowing them to go metaphysical or nihilistic, it is necessary to propose the new materialism. This article proposes the imitation between things based on Tarde's imitation between men to form interobjectivity as opposed to intersubjectivity and see things as an active, related system of interobjectivity. In this system of imitation between things, men and things from relationships, and in this network of relationships, a network of everything is formed. It is a new theory of everything and the birth of new materialism, a possible way for us to understand things in the metaverse.
