Bioinformatics and abiotic stress expression analysis of Gm CBL7-2 in soybean

Calcineurin B-like protein(CBL) act as calcium ion signaling receptor, which play an important role in plant abiotic stress and signal transduction.In this study, the Gm CBL7-2 gene from soybean was analyzed by bioinformatics and its expression level was detected under abiotic stress.The open reading frame of Gm CBL7-2 was 639 bp, encoding a protein containing 212 amino acids with relative molecular weight of 24.4 kD and isoelectric point of 4.56. GmCBL7-2 protein was a hydrophilic protein.The predicted results showed that GmCBL7-2 protein was mainly located in the cytoplasm and contained 13 phosphorylation sites.There were two Ca2+ binding sites in 3D structural model of Gm CBL7-2 protein.GmCBL7-2 protein is most closely related to Arabidopsis At CBL7protein.The expression level of Gm CBL7-2 in soybean seedlings showed that Gm CBL7-2 could respond to drought,salt and cold stresses, and the response to drought stress was more significant.
