The Construction of PSoC Teaching Platform in Teaching of Electronic Technology

PSo C is the programmable system on chip which is integrated with a microcontroller and many analog and digital components around the microcontroller. According to their needs,users can freely configurate,flexible design electronic systems which are integrated analog circuits,digital circuits and microprocessors. At present,the application of PSo C system is gradually replacing the traditional microcontroller and embedded processor in the electronic design field,and becomes a very important platform in that field. In order to help students to learn about the latest developments of electronic technology and enhance their overall understanding of electronic system design,we introduced PSo C technology in electronic technology teaching. This paper described the structure and the composition of PSo C experimental platform based on the PSo C3 and the PSo C5. Besides,we provided 4 level experiments developed by using this platform. It is very convenient for students to learn step by step. The platform was used in electronic system design course,electronic system training of excellent engineer experimental class,electronic competition training in our school.The results indicate that after introducing PSo C platform,it improved students' ability of the electronic system design.
