Research on mechanical characteristics of 1200 laminated lead steel-plate-laminated-rubber-bearing isolation bearings for building

Tests are conducted on mechanical characteristics of laminated lead steel-plate-laminated-rubber-bearing isolation bearing(D=1 200 mm) with an experimental study,including vertical compression property,horizontal shear property and ultimate deformation property.The influence of vertical pressure and horizontal shear deformation are obtained,analyzed and compared with three kinds of used type steel-plate-laminated-bearing isolation bearings(D=1 100 mm;D=1 000 mm;D=600 mm).It is proved that the bearing(D=1 200 mm) made by China has good properties and can be extended use for in actual projects,providing designs foundation for the seismic isolation and shock absorption control of structural high-rise buildings.
