Hydrogen Sulphide Spa Alleviate Muscle Spasticity for Patients with Spinal Cord Injury

Objective:To test the clinical observation of comprehensive rehabilitation therapy was effectively improved to treat Muscle spasticity for patients with spinal cord injury (SCI) combining with limb function training in Hydrogen sulphide spring water. Methods: 80 Muscle spasticity patients with SCI were subject to treatment and control groups, 40 in each group. In control group patients were treated with conventional comprehensive rehabilitation therapy, whereas patients in treatment group were treated with a combination of this conventional therapy combined with Hydrogen sulphide spa. Ashworth spasm classification by was compared before and after treatment to assess the effects of these two therapies.Results: Our results indicate that the combined therapy used in treatment group had an advantage over the conventional therapy used in control group (P0.05).Conclusions: Hydrogen sulphide spa night be able to effectively improve Muscle spasticity treatment for SCI patients.
