Determination of an Antipyretic-analgesic Compound Preparation-Qutong Pian (Saridon) with Micellar Electrokinetic Capillary Chromatography

The determination of an antipyretic-analgesic compound preparation-Qutong Pian (saridon) with micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography was described. The complete separation of four components was achieved with 0. 05 mol/L sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) solution as micellar phase, 0. 02 mol/L pH10. 0 running phosphate buffer and a constant voltage of 16kV (current of 105~115μA) . The retention times of individual components were between 6 and 11 minutes with relative standard deviations (RSD) less than 0. 5% (n= 10) respectively. The good linearity was shown between the concentration and peak area in the concentration range over 25~500μg/ml. Using acetanilide as internal standard, RSD of each of the four components was less than 1%. The analytical results obtained were in agreement with those by standard method.
