Energy Internet system based on distributed renewable energy generation

Based on distributed renewable energy generation,an energy Internet system is constructed,which enables the real-time,high-speed,bi-directional access of electric power data and the grid-paralleling of renewable energy sources. The energy Internet system consists of IEMS(Intelligent Energy Management System),distributed renewable energy source,energy storage,converter and intelligent terminals,etc. Besides the normal energy management,IEMS provides a visual operating platform to realize the "plug and play" of renewable energy sources and the switchover between networking and island operations. Energy storage is indispensable in improving the power quality,enhancing the system stability,reserving the energy and increasing efficiency. The power electronic transformer is used to satisfy the paralleling requirements of renewable energy generation. It is concluded that the main research fields of energy Internet are the control strategy,power electronic converter technology and energy storage technology.
