Matrix model of five-heald crepe weaves based on broken draft

The purpose of this study is to accomplish quick designing of crepe weaves based on broken draft by establishing a matrix model of five-heald crepe weaves.First,lifting set matrix model was established by permutations and combinations.Second,according to requirement of crepe weaves,a mathematical model of connecting conditions for lifting matrix and draft matrix was developed.Then,lifting matrix and draft matrix were formed by random.Finally,crepe weaves matrix was established by mathematic relationship between looming draft matrixes.This study revealed that lifting matrix and draft matrix could be generated quickly by random.Mathematical model of connecting conditions could judge the rationality of lifting matrix and draft matrix.Desired crepe weaves matrix could be generated by present method,which offers reference for fast generation of various crepe weaves with different interlace rules.
