Catalytic Synthesis of Aspirin with Sodium Acetate by Ultrasonic Wave

Salicylic acid and acetic anhydride used as raw materials,sodium acetate as catalyst under different conditions for synthesis of aspirin,the optimized conditions were as follows: crystallization time was 2 h,material mole ratio of salicylic acid and facetic anhydride was 1∶2. 5,reaction time was 20 min,reaction temperature was 75 ℃,and the dosage of catalyst was 8% of salicylic acid. Under these conditions,the yield of Aspirin was 88%. This method was litter equipment corrosion and litter environmental pollution than traditional methods,and was an environmentally friendly and efficient way of synthesis of Aspirin.
