To study normalized manipulation and quantificated curative effect for treating Lumbar Disc herniation with massage therapy

Objective To establish an effective suit of normalized manipulation,and introduce quantitative evaluation of clinical curative effect for treating LDH with massage therapy at the same time.Methods To establish a scheme of massage therapy for lumbar disc herniation,with collating literature of recent five years using retrospective study method and integrating clinical practice of the national massage pivot department of TCM.Sixty patients of LDH were selected,and divided into two groups according to the age,30 cases each group.To study with this curative scheme ahead,opt VAS(visual analogus scale)、ODI(Oswestry disability index) qua the observation index sign for quantitative curative effects.Results The melioration of VAS and ODI of patients in two groups had obvious statistical significance by treatment,and there were close relation between them furthermore.After treatment,good effects were obtained in both groups,the ratio of cure has obvious statistical difference(P0.05).Conclusion massage therapy on lumbar disc herniation exerts significant efficacy.The clinical effects of massage therapy on different age of LDH patients have distinct differences.Quantitative evaluation of clinical curative effect for treating lumbar disc herniation by massage therapy is possible.
