Liquid Propellant Management for the HyperSoar Mobile Vehicle in the Atmospheric Layer

To satisfy the new requirements of hyperSoar mobile vehicle flying in atmospheric layer to the management of liquid propellant, the successive input and displacement control of the propellant in the gravity field were discussed based on the analysis the characteristic difference between the normal and hyperSoar maneuvering flight. The propellant management in X-34 hypersoar vehicle of the American was analysed also. The approach results showed that the tank compartmentization was a feasible mode, which was suitable for maneuvering flight with one-time start-up. The management for the flight with multiple start-up was still need to investigate.
