53 national and international level elite women track and field athletes who came back to competitions after giving birth were studied. It was found that 69. 8% of the athletes improved their performance and reached to another heyday provided they recovered their training in time after giving birth. It was suggested that elite athletes should recover training within 6 months after giving birth, which would greatly influence the maintaining and improvement of their performance level.
