Genetic Variation of Maize Mutants by Spaceflight Based on SSR Analysis

Thirty-two SSR primers that gave stable profiles in the sample of 3 maize inbred lines(K305,K169 and 698-3) and their 118 mutants were selected from 132 primers,and produced 129,154 and 181 polymorphic amplified fragments respectively.The average numbers of allele per SSR locus were 3.96,4.63 and 5.00 with a ranger from 1 to 13.The ranges of mutants' polymorphism information content for the SSR loci of 3 maize inbred lines were 0.061-0.930,0.129-0.935 and 0.092-0.914 with averages of 0.501,0.587 and 0.708,respectively.The genetic similarities ranged from 0.604 7 to 0.782 9 with an average of 0.689 4 in K305 SP3 mutants,0.649 4 to 0.889 6 with an average of 0.792 4 in K169 SP3 mutants,and 0.624 3 to 0.854 6 with an average of 0.741 7 in 698-3 SP3 mutants compared with CK.The mutants of 3 maize lines were divided into 4,5,6 groups respectively with the scale of 0.75 by UPGMA.The study clarified that distinct variation existed among mutants,and the Spaceflight of different maize inbred-lines resulted in the different variation of which K305 is the best,and 698-3 is better than K169.
