A follow-up study of post-traumatic stress disorder of SARS patients after discharge

Objective:To study the relative factors of posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD) of SARS patients after discharge.Method:SARS patients were tested with PTSD-SS, society sustainment scale, and personality scale in the 3rd month and the 12th month after discharge,respectively,then re-diagnosed by CCMD-III.Result:The positive rate of PTSD in the 3rd mouth and 12th mouth after discharge were 46.2% and 38.8% respectively, and the cumulate positive rate 55.2%. The relative factors were career,psychosis tendency,subject support and sustain utilance.Conclusion:The better patient′s personality,the more social support; and it results in the lesser positive rate of PTSD.
