A PRELIMINARY STUDY OF PROPERTIES OF EXPANSION AND SHRINKAGE OF BAMBOO SHEETS

This paper obtains a serial of regression equations in criterions of the properties of expansion and shrinkage of bamboo sheets to some variables by the means of measuring for the properties of expansion .and shrinkage of the "softening-spreading" bamboo sheets, i.e. the semi-products to manufacture bamboo plywood, analyzes the variation rule of expansion and shirnkage of bamboo sheets, and provides some theoretic and practical bases for the processing and utilizing of bamboo.
